Student Representatives – CCEL Advisory Committee

Standard

Centre for Community Engaged Learning is nearing the final stages of launching an advisory committee. In short, the advisory committee is intended to provide expert and informed advice to the Centre on its role within the community; the potential to build on the strengths and assets of the Centre to enable increased impact; and issues of importance affecting the community for which the Centre’s strengths and assets may be leveraged. (More information and greater detail can be found in the Terms of Reference document attached to this email.)

In addition to community, faculty, staff, and alumni representation, there is space for two student representatives on the advisory committee. Our ambition is to find two students who will bring a strong voice and perspective to this committee that not only contributes to informing the work of the Centre but also enriches the committee as a whole. The document, CCEL Advisory Committee Student Representative Application, highlights the process to apply, as well as, expectations of committee membership.

Should you know of any students who would be interested please do share this information with them. I am happy for any questions from you or them regarding the committee and/or the application process.
