Openings in Master of Arts in Applied Economics (MAE)

Standard

We are writing to request your assistance in alerting your students to our new program, a Master of Arts in Applied Economics (MAE) at the University of Winnipeg, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In the MAE program students learn how economics informs policy in a variety of fields, including regulation, health care, the environment, poverty, labour, and finance. Students take core courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and cost-benefit analysis, and then may specialize either in a Policy Analysis stream or an Environmental/Development Economics stream. The program is normally completed in one year. Small class sizes and close interaction with faculty are hallmarks of the program.

A brochure is attached which we ask that you please forward to potential students. Our website for more information is at: uwinnipeg.ca/mae

Please feel free to contact us if further information is needed.
