Endowed Chair Position

Hood College in Frederick, MD has a wonderful opportunity for a fulltime, tenure-track faculty member in our new Sustainability Studies program.  This position is an endowed chair in sustainability studies (Assistant Professor).  The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching and the liberal arts and ongoing scholarly research in sustainable food systems, agribusiness or a closely related area. This faculty member will be expected to partner with local members of our food system to stimulate further growth and economic opportunities in our community.  I am hoping that you might know of potential applicants that might want to consider this opportunity and pass this information to them.
