Computer assistance for theses at Koerner Research Commons – discontinued

Attention: thesis students and supervising faculty.

For several years now, the Research Commons at the Koerner Library has offered workshops and individual assistance to students with the computer programs they use to produce their theses. Unfortunately, due to changing circumstances at the Library, this service will no longer be available after June 30th.

G+PS would like to thank the Research Commons for the help it has provided to students. G+PS will continue to provide the resources on our website and pre-reviews of theses. We will also continue to offer the “Preparation and Submission of Theses and Dissertations” seminars through G+PS’ Graduate Pathways to Success. The Microsoft Word template developed by the Research Commons is now available on our website here:

However, G+PS is not able to provide assistance or training on how to use this template or any other computer program students have chosen to use.

Students: Visit the Research Commons online to register to attend the final Dissertations and Thesis formatting workshop https://libcal.library.ubc.ca/event/3599885

or to book a thesis formatting consultation https://libcal.library.ubc.ca/appointments/research_commons before this service ends.
