Looking for grad student volunteers at the 2024 Pacific Agriculture Show

Standard

Sign up to volunteer at the 2024 Pacific Agriculture Show! – due Dec. 13

The Pacific Agriculture Show is coming up from January 25 to 27, 2024 at the Abbotsford Tradex Exhibition Centre.

The Faculty and the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems at the UBC Farm will have a 10×10 booth for the three days to showcase faculty research. Graduate students are invited to volunteer for a 3-4 hour shift. This is an opportunity to share your research and get feedback from producers.

We’ve set up a sign-up sheet – please sign up for the booth by December 13, 2023: https://ubc.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cNl8EyFLt6v039I

Please note: This year, we’re encouraging lab and research groups to bring interactive displays instead of promotional materials as those are the biggest draws. A webpage will be set up with contact information for each group, as well as some background about your work.

If you have any questions, please contact Shannon Wong (shannon.wong@ubc.ca) or Karen Lee (Karen.lee98@ubc.ca).–

Let me know if you need anything else.

Best,

Shannon
