A little bit about me…
Nice to Meet you, haha! I’m in my final year of UBC Mechanical Engineering. Outside of school I like to play football (it is not soccer!), watch F1, hike and capture shots of breathtaking landscapes BC has to offer!
I wish I had known before I came…
I wish I knew life away from home was going to be challenging. Apart from all the adventures, one has to deal with home sickness and undertake a load of responsibilities as an international student. Grateful to be here 🙂
I chose mechanical engineering because…
I like innovation and creativity. Who are we if not for bringing things to reality? I think Mechanical Engineering gave me a perfect opportunity to explore my interest of architecting and building systems and choose what I would really like to do in the future.

What I like best about my program…
Ability to learn any system in depth. Mechatronics provide a perfect blend mechanical, electrical and software skills. Although intense, the program is very rewarding. Don’t know if I come out as a better engineer from the program, but I will definitely come out as a person who got to experiment, fall, learn and figure out what I really want to do in life which is definitely an invaluable experience that this program provides.
Outside of the classroom, I am involved with…
Outside classes, I am mostly involved with events like concerts and sports games. Extremely lucky to have gotten chance to see and meet artists like Weeknd, Ryan Reynolds, Alphonso Davies and many more!
Favourite moment/memory so far…
Hard to pick one! One of the many favorites is definitely napping in the front row of afternoon lecture(s). 10/10 best sleep you’ll ever get!
