Clickers – How Do I Use Them?
I have received a number of requests and questions asking me how I use electronic response system (clickers) in my science courses. I have been using clickers for almost 9 years now. I have written a few papers about it and have given seminars on clicker use to teachers and university faculty. This summer I led a webinar on clicker use. Although my way of using clickers IS NOT THE ONLY WAY, seeing how I do it might help some of you to get started. So here is the
webinar link for anybody interested to know more about clicker use in a science classroom.
I have been using the CPS clickers – they are also called eInstruction clickers . You can read more about them at: www.einstruction.com
There are other systems available as well. We chose the CPS because of the features I refer to in my presentation. We like this system very much. I hope you enjoy this presentation!
