INTED 2010: Day Two

The second day of the conference was much more interesting for me. I went to the sessions that were more relevant to my work. As a result I got in touch with a few US, Irish and Belgian science educators who do things very similar to what we do. They introduced me to very creative uses of technology. For example, in Belgium they are working on video recording lectures such as they can be easily posted on the web. They also work on creating resources to support student learning and helping the profs in making the entire process more streamlined. The colleagues from the US do lots of very interesting things with Video Experiments and data analysis. The presentations were short, but we exchanged e-mails, so I hope something interesting might come out of it.

I am happy the second day was much more productive for me. I guess I became smarter about picking and choosing relevant sessions. Experience helps.
