World Science Festival 2009: Bobby McFerrin Demonstrates the Power of the Pentatonic Scale
A few years ago, while at UBC, I was one of the organizers of the Christmas Science show for the general public. The show was called “The Science of Music” and we tried to illustrate the interconnections between these fields. I got the following link from a friend today and it reminded me of our show. I think Bobby McFerrin illustrates amazingly how science and music are interconnected using an example of the pentatonic scale. I really like how he does it.
