Marie Curie – A Living History Project
Today I received a very special e-mail from a very special woman – Susan Marie Frontczak. I would like to share it with you.
Today I celebrated my birthday, and received many good wishes. Many encouraged me to celebrate and a good friend suggested that I “make it a day to remember.” This preliminary announcement is my celebration, and my way of making this a day to remember! After 12 years and 306 performances, I’m happy to announce early plans for Marie Curie Living History, a new multimedia project inviting audiences to discover Marie Curie through the lens of living history while inspiring a greater appreciation of the sciences.
In collaboration with my producer, Jen Myronuk, Manya: The Living History of Marie Curie will be produced as a feature-length video of the live theater performance, to be made available for broadcast/distribution through public media and on DVD for classroom and community screenings.
We are excited to share our new blog — MarieCurieLivingHistory.com — and invite you to connect with us on Facebook and subscribe to our announcements featuring project updates, articles, quotes, photos, multi-media and guest authors. More updates and a sample reel will be announced in early February.
Most of all, we invite you to share your ideas and suggestions as we prepare for our upcoming production — your support is greatly appreciated. I hope you will join us in this adventure!
