This week was the first week of 80% course load.

In Spanish, I’ve continued with the same two classes, and due to assemblies and professional development days, classes were very short and seldom.

In PE however, students have been practicing their dance routines and presenting their “inventing warm-ups” projects. 100% student centered classes! This style of teaching, not only is smart and efficient, but is so crucial for student engagement and fostering student autonomy. I believe that it takes a great deal of organization and strong teacher-student relationships before it can be implemented successfully.
