Program Completion Requirements
In Spring 2021, the UBC Senate approved a change to the DAP program requirements, which includes minor changes to align with the updated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Competency Map and CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) entrance requirements.
The program completion requirements are as follows:

- Complete the 8 required senior level courses (24 credits) while registered in the Diploma in Accounting Program at UBC: BUSI 353, BUSI 354, BUSI 355, BUSI 414, BUSI 450, BUSI 453, BUSI 455 and BUSI 493, with a passing grade in each course, and an overall average of not less than 60% (the grades from all attempts at each of these courses, passed or failed, is included in the average grade calculation)
Grades earned through completion of DAP elective courses (e.g. BUSI 329, BUSI 465) are not considered for purposes of meeting the DAP graduation requirements.
To be awarded the Diploma in Accounting (DipAcct) credential from UBC upon completion of the above-listed requirements, students must formally apply for graduation from UBC.
