Consent Cover Letter
You are being invited to participate in a research project about the effects of residential construction on local watersheds. Erika Nassichuk, a student in the Master of Land and Water Systems program at the University of British Columbia (UBC), is conducting this study. This study is being conducted as part of the required major project portion of Erika Nassichuk’s Master of Land and Water Systems degree.
There are no known risks to you by participating in this study and participation is voluntary. Answering this questionnaire will take between five and ten minutes of your time. There are no costs associated with participating in this study. The information you provide in the questionnaire will help to determine the current state of knowledge regarding the impacts of residential construction on watersheds. If the questionnaire is completed, it will be assumed that consent has been given. Data obtained from this questionnaire will be published on a UBC hosted, searchable word press blog.
This questionnaire is anonymous. Please do not write your name or contact information on the questionnaire. Participants will not be identified in any way when the results of this questionnaire are reported in the UBC hosted word press blog.
