I am committed to participating in ongoing formal and informal learning experiences in a variety of settings including academic and community-based. I particularly enjoy participating in leadership and personal development programs that allow me to learn more about who I am and how I interact in the world.
Some of the learning experiences that I have had include:
- Graduating from the 10-month Leadership Victoria Program through Leadership Victoria
- Completing the 8-month Next Up Social and Environmental Justice Leadership Program through the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and Check Your Head
- Participating in the 9-month Graduate Certificate Program in Teaching in Higher Education through the Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology at the University of British Columbia
- Completing the Longhouse Leadership Program through the First Nations House of Learning at the University of British Columbia
- Completing the Student Leadership Program at the University of Victoria
- Participating in the Canadian Environmental Leadership Program through Hollyhock Leadership Institute
- Participating in the Journey of Facilitation and Collaboration through FacilitatorU
- Participating in the Sustainability Education Intensive through the Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology at the University of British Columbia
- Participating in the Authentic Leadership in Action West Institute through the ALIA Institute
