I am currently completing my Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Studies from the Department of Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia. I hold a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Society Culture and Politics in Education from the Department of Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia as well as a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree with a specialization in Elementary Education, from the University of Victoria, BC, Canada. I am a certified Professional Teacher with the British Columbia Ministry of Education, and have been certified since April 2008.
