In her post STARBUCKS WORKERS: RESPONSE TO MICHAEL SKY, Angela Lan connects starbucks new worker policy with social value and social responability.She mentions that’ Starbucks encouraging employees to self-express with their fashion and/or tattoo is an important step to obtaining necessary freedom in the workplace.’I could not agree with her opinion more. But we can also think of the policy impact on the company itself.

In class 19, we learned that the organization culture of a company have deep influence on its development.Starbucks new policy is  beneficial to form an proactive and open-minded organization culture.Workers have more freedom in working environment,which is helpful to improve their working effeciency.Also working in a favourable and cozy environment,employees can deliver their happiness to customers.However,to give more freedom to employees does not mean to indulge them to do whatever they want.Starbucks just abandoned unnecessery rules to promote the operation.Providing certain training courses to employees especially new hands will yeild unexpected benefits.
