Mock Practice Interviews B: Registration is Open

Mock Practice Interviews B: Thursday, September 19 & September 26

As a follow up to your Mini Mock with your Career Coach during your Intake Meeting — Mock Interview (MI) B is fast approaching.  There are 60+ spots available for September 19 & 30+ spots for September 26.

MI B is a 20-minute behavioural interview followed by a 10-minute feedback session where you’ll be asked common behavioural interview questions (4-6) and receive feedback based on the BCC’s Interview Rubric.

Suggested activities to help prepare for MI B include:

  • Interview eLearning Module – Available on Connect | eLearning
  • Review MBA PD Class 2 – Interview Fundamentals (Connect=>My PD Journey)
  •  Interview Stream – Practice the MI B Pre-set of Interview Questions (this is good practice exercise – not necessarily all the same questions you’ll be asked during MI B)
  • Review your Background Analysis and frame your accomplishments in the  CAR (Context | Action | Result) format.  Be prepared to have more than one story ready.

TO DO:  Log into COOL-> go to “Workshops/Events” tab -> under “ Workshops” find “Mock Practice Interviews B”-> Please choose a time slot (30 minutes) that works best for you. We will contact students in regards to Mock Interview locations a few days before Sept 19 & Sept 26.
