What is your non-law dream job?

Bee-keeper and gardener. Landscape architect, if I were to be highfalutin.

What is your favourite book or movie?

Book: Mrs Dalloway. Movie: The Big Lebowski–although lately I have come to *love* Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and I hope the remake does it justice.

What is your favourite judicial decision and why?

I have two: Roncarelli v Duplessis, because it is the best jurisprudential articulation of the principle of the rule of law; and, The Secession Reference because it is one of the greatest judgments written by any court, anytime, anywhere.

What’s a UBC Campus hidden gem that more people should know about?

UBC Botanical Gardens–especially the Canopy Walk.
