As requested, I have posted my research proposal for formal report on our “Team Typephoon” team forum. I am including my research proposal with this memo for your reference.
My research proposal is on the feasibility of switching existing virtual desktop infrastructure thin clients to local desktop computers for our Human Resources department. The proposal includes:
- An introduction to hardware devices currently used in the Human Resources department
- Problem of rising costs to maintain virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
- Proposed solution of replacing VDI with local desktop computers
- Scope and methods for conducting the research
- The reason to why I am a good fit for conducting this research
