You may be wondering… what the heck is a Hack & Whack?!
It’s a day of birdies, bogies, and fun with your coworkers! Each year, our colleagues from Campus Recreation organize a fun-filled golf tournament for UBC staff and faculty members.
Staff, faculty, and friends alike can sign up in teams of four to “hack” and “whack” their way through a full-length 9-hole course.
Whether you golf like a pro, or more like an amateur mini-putter, you’re sure to have a good time at this event. All experience levels are welcome to participate, and there are lots of great prizes to be won.
This year, the tournament was hosted on Tuesday, May 30th, at the Kelowna Springs Golf Club. The weather did not disappoint, and the golfers enjoyed a hot and sunny afternoon out on the course.
