Where can you find a room full of students who are equally as talented at walking backward as they are knowledgeable about UBC? At the Student Ambassador Retreat, of course!

On Sunday, January 10, UBC Okanagan’s Student Ambassador team visited the Vancouver campus for the Student Ambassador Retreat. The day started off with a brief campus tour (Yep, that’s right. Campus tour guides leading other campus tour guides on a campus tour… Are you still with me?).

Following the tour, the Ambassadors put their UBC knowledge to the test with UBC Jeopardy! (I’ll take Campus Life for $200, Alex). After an intense round of trivia, the Ambassadors continued to impress us by showing off their acting skills, with some UBC-themed role-playing. They really got into character as they played the part of parents, prospective students, or UBC Student Ambassadors.

Throughout these activities, there was plenty of collaboration between the Vancouver and Okanagan Ambassadors, as they shared interesting facts and anecdotes about each of the campuses.

Overall, it was a great day filled with learning, laughing, and student leadership.
