The Enrolment Services Leadership team, which is composed of all of the managers throughout ES, gets together for a day-long retreat twice a year. This past October 28th was this year’s Fall Leadership retreat.
This time we also invited along a few of the teams from SASI for the morning portion, where everybody took part in an icebreaker where we discussed important attributes like flexibility, collaboration and cooperation and how we can bring those into our work. We spent the rest of the morning learning about where things are at with the SASI program and working through activities together that focused on realizing benefits and dynamics around group decision-making.
After lunch and some low-key pumpkin decorating the SASI folks returned to their regular work and the ES Managers spent time recognizing some of the big successes we have all had this past year, participated in a game and discussion around collective success and ended the day with a review of the many priorities and projects planned for next year, and working together to identify the opportunities we have to collaborate.
