The Student Financial Services (SFS) team was showcased during the recent ES Stand-up meeting on February 8. SFS adapted the game show “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” to provide what we hoped was an exciting, educative and engaging experience for our colleagues in Enrolment Services.
With over 163 years of combined work experience at UBC, the team was able to come up with some challenging questions and interesting bits of trivia.
Who knew the 99 B-Line carries 17 million people to campus each year?!
From tuition and bursary processing, to Senate regulations, the ES staff was tested about their SFS knowledge, with only one ‘contestant’ able to get all the answers correct and claim top-prize. Congratulations to Marianne Boyles! Hopefully you didn’t spend all your gold doubloons in one place!
