On Thursday, June 1st, our own Team UBC hosted a fundraiser at the Point Grill here on the Vancouver campus. Each ticket included a burger, fries, and a beverage of your choice, and half of each ticket sold went directly to cancer research. The fundraiser was also a chance to catch up with colleagues, to meet new people, and to support an amazing cause!

This is Team UBC’s sixth year participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer. The Ride is a cycling fundraising journey from Vancouver to Seattle benefitting the BC Cancer Foundation. The money raised will directly support clinicians, scientists, and researchers who search for new discoveries and improve patient outcomes.
