Felicia i
s currently pursuing her Masters in Library and Information Science at the University of British Columbia. Before that, she was working as a children’s librarian in Singapore and even earlier than that, she graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. Librarianship was an accident, but one that she is thankful for.
In the immediate future, Felicia is most likely to become a public librarian. Her main area of interest is literacy, not just reading literacy but also media literacy and the creation of programmes in support of it.
Felicia is an outgoing, cheerful person who loves meaningful conversations over meals and can often be found in front of her computer looking for social interaction. She relishes every opportunity to travel and coming to Vancouver has given her many great days exploring the city and its surroundings, all the way to the Rocky Mountains and Alaska.
