As researchers, teachers, and scholars, we are committed to inquiry into all facets of media and technology, from applications to implications. We are committed to research into the dynamics and politics of media and technology in and as education. We bring this spirit of inquiry and experimentation to our research and teaching practices. In our research and teaching, we aim to make a difference in altering conditions that underwrite disparities mitigated by and through uses of media and technology. We encourage our students to mediate their technological practices with a thorough understanding of implications and issues. We appreciate design and technical skills as they are tempered with critical forms of literacy and political activism.
