We are thrilled to bring field days to you with the launch of our Soil Health Series. Join us to view and discuss these virtual field days.

Mental Health in the Chaos & Convergence with Briana Hagen, who will be presenting on mental health literacy, in combination with how mental health ties in with emergency response models (recognizing the heat dome, wildfires, and flooding in BC last year). Following Dr. Hagen’s presentation, there will be space for Q & A, as well as breakout conversations related to mental wellness. With gratitude to Farm Credit Canada for being our Mental Wellness Sponsor for this session.

Tradeshow Engagement

Virtual Trade Show Exhibitors will also be featured.

March 6th – 9 AM to 1 PM

Virtual Conference Day II

Podcast Guest Q&A with Jordan Marr

Taking a deeper dive into some of the 2022 BC Organic podcasts.

Always Organic: Reframing the Regenerative Conversation – The focus for the panel is to discuss the various aspects of regenerative agriculture, and how organic agriculture is key to sustainability in all senses. We will ask the question: what is needed to make organic the key to regenerative certification? Our answers will come from a variety of perspectives – what the Ministry’s goals for regenerative agriculture are, and how they see involving the organic community; what’s happening at the federal level with various organic organizations; how Regenerative Organic Certification is being put into practice already, and what effect that’s having both on farms and consumer perception; what sort of policy frameworks are needed to support regenerative (e.g., organic) agriculture.

The Full Virtual Conference registration includes our 12-episode podcast series, virtual field days – soil health video series, facilitated conversations over two mornings, and a virtual trade show. We also have a new student price for the Full Virtual Conference. For full event details and to register, visit https://organicbc.org/conference/
