 BCIA Vancouver Branch AGM & Keynote Speaker 

February 7, 2017: 5:30pm to 9:30pm

Location: Deeley Motorcycle Exhibition and Conference Centre 

Keynote speaker: Richard Bullock, former Chair and CEO of the BC Agricultural Land Commission 

Mr. Bullock has served as the Chair of the BC Provincial Agricultural Land Commission from 2010 to 2015.  During his term he led a comprehensive multi-stakeholder consultation, moved the ALC forward with significant digital information projects and championed the Agricultural Land Reserve and agricultural land preservation in the province.  As a member and Chair of the British Columbia Farm Industry Review Board he worked within the complex regulated marketing system both provincially and nationally.  As Chair, he has worked to improve commodity board governance and encouraged commodity boards to be more responsive to national and international changes in the agricultural industry.  Mr. Bullock’s has more than 45 years of experience in all levels of agriculture and agricultural processing industries, from grass roots production to senior level negotiations, policy development, management and administration of agriculture associations and processing facilities.  He has represented both the Government of Canada and British Columbia on resource sector development missions throughout the Pacific Rim and Europe.

Registration:  Includes Keynote speaker, food (hot and cold appetizers catered by Peake of Catering), entrance to motorcycle museum, and AGM.

  • $40 non-members

Registration for AGM only (entrance after 7:15): no charge.  Please indicate if attending ONLY the AGM.
