3M National Student Fellowship — call for nominations

The 3M National Student Fellowship honours up to ten full-time undergraduate and graduate students at Canadian post-secondary institutions who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their lives and at their college or university. These students embrace a vision of quality education that enhances their academic experience and beyond. Each winner will receive an award of $5,000 to be spent at the winner’s discretion and will also participate in a 3M National Student Fellowship Program retreat. Further information and eligibility is available on the award website: www.stlhe.ca/awards/3m-national-student-fellowships/

The application process for these awards is extensive and requires that the Vice-President, Students, reviews each completed package. Students should submit their completed application by 4 pm, Monday, January 8th, 2018 to Uma Kugavaratharajah at vpsassist@mail.ubc.ca

The Office of the Vice-President, Students, will review and respond to the students regarding their submission by Monday, January 22nd, 2018. Approved applications must be submitted electronically by the student to the 3M National Student Fellowship on or before Wednesday, January 31st, 2018.

Thank you for considering this opportunity and helping to identify potential applicants. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Uma Kugavaratharajah at vpsassist@mail.ubc.ca.
