Million Dollar Med$: exploring Canadians’ access to life-saving medicines. What if you couldn’t get medicine for yourself or someone you love? On March 23rd Join Global Reporting Centre founder and journalist Peter Klein as he discusses the Million Dollar Med$ project and its investigation of the impact of rare diseases on Canadian families and how Canada can increase access to treatments that could save lives.

Help us make our campus a safer place. Join Campus Security in a “town hall” style meeting on April 12. Campus Security are making some big changes and we want your input on how to improve campus safety. We will be hosting a town hall style session with our campus stakeholders (you!) to discuss Campus Security strategies.

The UBC Sustainability Scholars Summer 2018 Program has several positions open for graduate students in a variety of areas including forestry, engineering, regional planning, architecture, science, applied science, business and more. Each position is for a total of 250 hours over the summer (part-time), for which the successful candidate will receive $5250.

The third UPEI Multidisciplinary Graduate Research Conference will be held August 9 and 10, 2018 at the University of Prince Edward Island. Students in graduate programs across Canada are invited to submit a presentation abstract by April 13, 2018 to gsa@upei.ca.
