Positive Space Workshops: Help Build Welcoming and Inclusive Communities

Explore how you can positively impact the climate for sexual and gender diversity at UBC and make your learning, working, or living communities more inclusive to all.

Positive Space workshops cover current language, issues, resources, and best practices in an interactive and experiential learning environment. Participants will gain relevant knowledge and skills to use in their academic, work, and campus life so that they can help make UBC more welcoming to lesbian, gay, bisexual, two-spirit, trans and queer students, staff, faculty, alumni, and allies.

Workshops take place from 1-3 PM in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre, starting Wednesday, June 13. Future workshop dates are July 19 and August 15. Register early as space is limited; refreshments will be provided.
