UNLOCKING ENTREPRENEURSHIP

“Entrepreneurship isn’t just about building start-ups” Nilay Yuce says emphatically “ It’s about being prepared to make a positive impact in your organisation and being able to spread that vision and enthusiasm to colleagues, investors and the public.”

Nilay and her fellow MBA student Mustafa Sabban are trying to spread this message through the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club at Sauder School of Business. In November the club are hosting Reboot Startup Weekend, a unique business competition that gives ALL students the chance to try and revive real technologies developed at UBC.

TRY ARCHERY TAG WITH THE GSS

Channel your inner Katniss by taking part in Archery Tag® — a fast paced game similar to paintball but with bows and arrows instead of painful balls of paint. Imagine a combination of paintball, dodgeball and archery all in one. It’s fun, frenetic and guaranteed to get your heart-pumping.

The game is simple, you try to shoot foam-tipped arrows that look like big marshmallows, but has plenty of skill.
