BC Agriculture and Climate Change Education Series – Second Module

ADAPTATION CONCEPTS AND INITIATIVES

Orchard Commons Room (ORCH) 3074, third floor (6363 Agronomy Rd) – UBC campus

In this second module, you will extend your knowledge of the impacts of climate change on the BC agriculture sector, and explore considerations surrounding both regional and farm scale adaptation. MacNair will also outline the importance of collaboration in identifying and implementing adaptation strategies, and will use case study examples to highlight current work being done in the province to support adaptation in the BC agriculture sector. During the session, we will access to the Slido platform to facilitate questions and undertake interactive polls; please bring a smartphone or laptop with you. Light snacks and drinks are provided previous to the event. Registration is free at claudia.paez@ubc.ca
