Survey deadline extension

A big thanks to the many of you who have taken the time to complete the survey. If you haven’t we’ve extended the deadline for another 14 days.

Why have we extended the deadline?

  • The survey result are one of the most important tools we have to help us direct our advocacy, events and resources to things that matter. This makes getting the most representative sample very important.
  • The results are something that show how the grad student experience changes over time, so we want the best data.

You hope you’ll take 15 minutes to complete the survey. It makes our work for you more effective.

Summer Sports

Softball is underway

The 2019 GSS Summer softball league got underway last night with the Glueballs taking on the Druggers and Sluggers. Even a little light rain wasn’t enough to dampen spirits. Games will be happening every week until the finals on August 21st. You can keep up up to date with results and hopefully some pics HERE

The Graduate Student Society and the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy are looking for participants in focus groups with graduate students in research-based programs to identify challenges and successes that students with disability have been experiencing navigating UBC campus and how they perceive UBC accessibility.
