CTLT Winter Institute: Dec 14-17

Standard

I was hoping to enlist your support with promoting the upcoming online CTLT Winter Institute to Land and Food Systems. From December 14-17, 2020, UBC faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students are invited to a week of complimentary online professional development workshops during the mid-academic year to reflect on the impact their teaching, learning, and technological practices have on online student learning and experiences. The theme of the 2020 Winter Institute is, Sustainable, Inclusive & Thriving Online Teaching and Learning Communities.

For the first time, the Institute will also feature a multi-day program. Transitioning to Online Teaching: A Blended Approach is designed to explore different approaches to online teaching, and blend synchronous and asynchronous online components. December 15th is “Wellbeing Day” with sessions examining the wellbeing of educators and students amid the transition to remote teaching and learning.
