Christie Stephenson – Peter P. Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics

Christie Stephenson is the Executive Director of the Peter P. Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics at UBC Sauder Business School. Before joining UBC Sauder in 2016, she spent more than 15 years at socially responsible and impact investing firms Sustainalytics, NEI Investments, and Rally Assets.

Christie has more than two decades of diverse board experience, having served as a director of cooperatives, non-profit organizations and private companies. She currently serves on the boards of Vancity financial cooperative and the UBC Staff Pension Plan.

Christie is a regular media commentator and frequent speaker on ESG governance and investing, a climate governance expert with the Canadian Climate Law Initiative, and member of the BC Securities Commission’s Corporate Finance Stakeholder Forum.
