South Asia Studies Grad Students Virtual Meet n’ Greet

Standard

We are excited to launch SAGA (South Asia Graduates for the Arts) at UBC: a grassroots initiative run by graduate students for graduate students, alumni, and the wider community. Our aim is to increase connection amongst South-Asia studies students, South Asian students, and South Asia-focused clubs with the wider South Asian community in the Lower Mainland.

To kick off the Project, we are inviting you to a UBC South Asia graduate students Virtual SAGA Meet n’ Greet that will be held on Thursday, January 28th from 7:00 to 8:00pm. We are hoping to bring together South Asia-focused graduate students across a variety of faculties and disciplines. We’ll watch a short film, talk about our work, and do some fun icebreakers! The first twenty graduate students to sign-up will receive a $20 gift card to order your favourite South Asian takeout to go along with the Meet n’ Greet! 🙂

While we are sad we can’t be with you all in person, we are excited to be able to connect with you virtually and continue to further the connections within this wonderful community!
