UBC SciComm Week is an event developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine Graduate and Postdoctoral Education Office and Graduate Student Society. This event, which takes place from March 29th-31st, will feature workshops from science communication professionals and a closing keynote speech from Dr. Jennifer Gardy. We also have set up a Twitter Conference for graduate students to showcase their research on March 31st, which is similar to a traditional poster presentation except participants will tweet about their research (could be a protocol, general thesis topic, or a specific project) rather than creating a poster. Registration is currently open to everyone including students, faculty, staff and the general public.
