2021 UBC 3MT Competition

Standard

The UBC Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition is happening virtually next week! Everyone is welcome to come out and cheer on the graduate students and learn about research at UBC.

The 3MT is an academic competition that assists current graduate students with fostering effective presentation and communication skills. Participants have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a non-specialist audience.

Wednesday, March 31 from 12:00-1:30 p.m.
Register here.

Among the ten finalists is LFS’s Tebogo Leepile (Tebby), a PhD candidate in the Integrated Studies in Land and Food Systems program (supervisors: Dr Eduardo Jovel & Dr Crystal Karakochuk). Tebogo’s presentation is titled ‘MyData_MyVoice: Prevalence of Anemia among San Women and Young Children in Rural Botswana’
