My name is Mahsa Khalili and I am part of Student Services for the Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Network (iGSN) at UBC. The iGSN serves as a platform to connect grad students across various disciplines. We organize academic as well as social events to promote interdisciplinary mingling. For our upcoming social event, we will gather over zoom to make mug cakes and play online games. We would love it if you could promote our event among the graduate students community of your department in an effort to educate more grads about our resources and give them an opportunity to socialize among like-minded peers. This could be a good platform for new grads to make new friends during the COVID-19 restrictions.

Hola iGSNers!!!

Summer is coming!!! Hopefully it brings back in-person days as well. As we all wrap up work, iGSN thought it would be a good idea to have a small celebration. Why do we say celebrate??? Because we have survived more than a year of pandemic + grad school.

We welcome you all to join us for a fun night of online socializing by saying CHEERS with mugs full of cake. Yes!!! We will be enjoying the evening by making MUG CAKES followed by some online games.
