Hello LFS Grad Indigenous Students,

My name is Oceania, I am an Indigenous student in the Applied Biology program. Currently, I am the Indigenous Outreach Coordinator, a Work Learn position with LFS Student Services.

I am reaching out as I am hosting an in-person sharing circle and would love to hear about your experiences at UBC as a student in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. There will be bannock, jam and tea provided during this casual discussion to connect with one another.

As part of my role, I am developing a workshop to educate future LFS Work Learn students and staff on the experiences of Indigenous students, and would love to include stories from different perspectives.  Any stories you share will be held in confidence, unless you provide permission for me to share your name.

The sharing circle will take place on Wednesday, March 2nd between 2 and 5pm. You can join at any time during this session, and stay as long as you like.

Please fill out the survey below if you are interested in participating in this in-person event (location will be provided after you register).  If the in-person time does not work for you, please let me know, as an alternate time for you to share can be arranged.

If you would like to participate anonymously, there will be an option to request a questionnaire within the survey.
