CEA Mentoring: Please forward to PhD Graduate Students

Standard

The CEA is hosting a number of mentoring events this fall, aimed at graduate students on the job market this year or in the coming years.  We hope to have a few focussed panels, Q&A sessions with job market candidates from previous years and those who have served on hiring committees.  We are also planning workshops to help job market candidates perfect their 3-minute “elevator speech” about their research.

Our first meeting will be held on October 12, at 8PM Eastern.  This will be a casual Meet & Greet and information gathering session.  We will provide a short overview of the job market and where to find resources, introduce the mentoring committee and gather information about issues and questions that attendees would like to explore further.

Please forward this registration link to all PhD Students who may be on the market this year or next.

To register as an attendee at the CEA Economics Job Market Mentoring Events, please complete the following form.  Zoom links and information will be sent prior to each event.
