UBC Postdoc Research Day

Standard

The UBC Postdoctoral Association is organizing our annual Postdoc Research Day, a full day of interdisciplinary research talks featuring UBC postdocs, on December 6, 2022! Please see attached flyer for details.

This year’s Research Day will be back in person following the latest COVID-related safety guidelines. All postdocs from your department and unit are welcome to submit an abstract for peer-review and attend the Research Day in person.

One of our keynote speakers is Dr. John Madden who will be talking about Mend the Gap, a successful international collaboration of an interdisciplinary team to accelerate efforts towards a regenerative treatment for spinal cord injury. Additionally, he will discuss the steps this team took to apply for and implement this 6 year, 11 university, $24 million dollar grant.

We would appreciate it if you can circulate the information below and the attached flyer to your colleagues.

Thank you for your help!

Kind regards,
