Come join the South Coast Region’s Crown Land Authorizations team!

We are a growing, fun, and results-focused team that specializes in land decisions for natural resource management in the South Coast Region under the Land Act. As a Licenced Authorizations Officer/Authorizations Specialist you will provide professional advice regarding the allocation of resources, conduct applied research, and provide technical expertise to support decisions on the use of Crown land. You will also play a key role in advancing our team’s Strategic Plan for backlog reduction.

The South Coast region of the Province has an incredibly diverse, rich landscape and is the most densely populated region in BC.  The myriad of interests and values to consider in the management of natural resources makes this a complex and interesting region to work.
