Case Competition Event

Standard

I am the Relations Director for IdeasXChange, a social innovation hub based at UBC that mobilizes youth through forums, case competitions and leadership training. On Saturday, March 17th, we will be hosting a case competition called InnoHacks: Inclusive Innovation. As we are incredibly excited about the outcome of this event, we would be extremely grateful if you could help us share our event with the Faculty of Land and Food Systems Graduate students.

Below is a brief description of our event. What: InnoHacks: A Case Competition on Inclusive Innovation

Where: UBC Global Lounge (2205 Lower Mall, Vancouver, BC V6T)

When: Saturday, March 17th, 2018 from 9AM to 7PM Who: Any students or student groups that are interested in learning more about inclusive innovation!

Why participate?

The InnoHacks: Inclusive Innovation case competition challenges students to work in teams to create solutions to world issues using the principles of social innovation. Through this event, we hope to build UBC students’ connections to experts’ knowledge, and help them generate ideas and insights that will be applicable for future use. Further, being graduate students, many of the individuals may already have extensive knowledge on the topic of inclusive innovation. If any students are interested, they can also volunteer as a judge or mentor during our event. If you would like more information, feel free to let me know and I can provide more in depth details of our event. Conversely, I have also attached our Facebook event page below: https://www.facebook.com/events/849118388630191/

Thank you for your help and we look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Best,

Xuedan Xu and the IdeasXChange Team
