Learn basic bee anatomy to identify groups to families and some genus of local
pollinators. This workshop will walk you through identifying features on bees you’ll see
in your backyard or park. We will discuss life history and key differences to look for when
you are outdoors.
A PhD position has become available in our department, in collaboration with the Scotch Whisky Research Institute, entitled ‘Exploiting yeast diversity in whisky fermentations for biocatalysis of desirable flavour compounds’.
