The Food as Medicine Update series was created to address the knowledge-gap in continuing medical education related to the role of nutrition in patient care. In this full day symposium, healthcare professionals will learn about the most recent clinical research on nutrition through the lifespan. This group learning CME activity is accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) office at the University of Toronto.

As part of this event, Dr. Walter Willett will be awarded the Rundle-Lister Lectureship in Transformative Nutritional Medical Education in recognition of his outstanding contributions to translational research in the field of nutrition and health and the translation of this work to clinical practice.

BC Food Technologists Movie Night

BC Food Technologists is hosting a movie night event on Nov. 20, planing for food, movie, and post-movie discussion moderated by BCFT executives.

The documentary to be screened, Food Evolution, covers topics on GMOs, communications, environment change, etc.

This event aims to help students and new professionals to build networking, and also to promote the discussion among everyone related to the agri-food system. So everyone is welcome!
