Work – Study – Learning Opportunity – Langley Farm

Standard

My name is Rick White. I am a Realtor with Sutton West Coast Realty working out of the Granville and Broadway office.

One of my very good clients purchased a 10 acres plot of recently cleared ALR property in Langley, BC.

The farm property has a newly drilled well and a home and outbuildings will be placed in the coming weeks..

I am contacting you on behalf of my clients to ask if you, your colleagues and students are looking for opportunities to work with a local small-scale organic farmer in the development of her community focussed non-profit farm.

Her goal is to transform this fertile 10 acres of agricultural property into a productive organic farm where she will grow a range of vegetables for donation and possible sale to local merchants and restaurants.

To support her vision of a productive farm, she hopes to raise a few chickens for egg production, honey bees and possibly a few sheep and goats to provide balance.

The farm owner is a wonderful person and I am confident that she would be very generous and supportive of your students and faculty if you opted to work with her.

I think this will be a great opportunity to plan and develop a farm from its early stages.

Let me know if you are interested in learning more.

Respectfully,

Rick
