Call for 2021/22 IAR Fellows – Deadline Sept 15

Standard

I am writing on behalf of UBC’s Institute of Asian Research, which is located in the School of Public Policy & Global Affairs. The IAR is launching an IAR Fellows program for UBC graduate students interested in issues relevant to contemporary Asia, broadly defined. IAR Fellows receive benefits that will support their research and scholarly development. Applications are welcome from all disciplines, but especially from units that have not traditionally had strong associations with IAR.

Could you please circulate the text below together with the attached Program Description and Application to your graduate students? Thank you in advance, and please do not hesitate to direct questions to iar.sppga@ubc.ca

Best,
Kai Ostwald
Director of the Institute of Asian Research
