Washington Square News: Senate group expands grad rep proposal
An NYU-appointed committee outlined a new advocacy group for graduate and professional students within the university governance system, university officials told WSN yesterday.
Expanding on its December 2005 and January 2006 recommendations to create a graduate student advocacy group to address the graduate assistant strike — now in its sixth month — the new plan from the Student Senators Council’s Graduate Affairs Committee calls for an ad-hoc structural committee that will plan a house of delegates for graduate students.
